Runs settle every six hours. After the next settlement your share shows up on the fab page, ready to claim. How much a run pays follows the treasury: a governor steers payouts toward 1% of the vault a day, see the treasury.
To earn, yes. One free trial run shows you how it works, but it is not paid: only runs under a mining pass are, and a pass needs $30 of $FAB in your wallet. A holder pass keeps one GPU mining nonstop. Hold $300 and every run pays 1.25x on up to two GPUs at once; hold $3,000 and it pays 1.5x on up to four. Your holding is checked when each run starts and again when it finishes, so keep the $FAB in the wallet for the whole run.
Any GPU with WebGPU in a desktop browser, such as recent Chrome or Edge. Keep the tab open for the whole run: 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
Anthropic or DeepSeek, on your own account. The fab sends your key with that one request and never stores it, adds no markup, and never sees your bill. Questions about a provider bill go to that provider.
Open models are answered by miners who are online right now. If nobody is serving that model, the prompt waits in line. Poll it at /api/v1/inference/<id>, or start a run and answer it yourself.
Not yet. Nodes serve prompts, but payouts come from the benchmark run, which a node never does. We will say so when that changes.
